My goal as your photographer is to capture authentic memories that you can cherish throughout the years.
One thing I understand is how stressful picture day can be. As a mom of two young boys, we have experienced ALL the feelings at important events!
I want to assure you that photos with me do not have to be stressful. I will walk you through all of the important details from the moment you book your session all the way to the delivery of your photos.

My Process

Book your Session.
Message me and we will find the perfect package to fit your needs. We will work together on the date and time and get it on the books!
02.
Check-In/Picture Day
As your photographer, I will work with you every step on the way; whether that be picking an outfit or addressing any concerns you may have. I will confirm your session 48 hrs. prior and check-in the morning of shoot to make sure you are all set!
03.
Sneak Peak
A sneak peak of your session will be available on my Facebook page: Kristin Hamlin Photography within 48 hrs. of your session.
04.
Album Delivery
All albums are delivered to your e-mail via Pixieset. You will receive a special code that will allow you to save your favorites and download right then! If you need any help after this, please let me know and I will be happy to help.
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
This depends on the type of session you are booking. Please refer to the page labeled session types/pricing for this information.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The first two weeks are the prime time for a newborn session. Babies are fresh out of Mama's womb and are still adjusting to the outside world.
How should we dress for our family session?
Mid-tone plain colors seem to look the best. I always say to try and avoid patterns and keep things neutral. They are easier to style cohesively and so many palettes to choose from, depending on the season!
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely! Prior to your shoot we will discuss things like this to help me prepare. Some people are born to be in front of the camera and some are camera shy, both still look absolutely wonderful at the end. It's my job to help you pose comfortably in a way that fits yours and/or your families style.
